I live in the ghost town of Fondis, CO., about an hour out of Denver
on the eastern plains.
My current art consists of small ceramic sculptures, as well as some large outdoor welded pieces, charcoal drawings and watercolors. My Goddess Spheres and Eggs are cast ceramic sculptures that are underglazed using designs inspired by Anasazi pots. These abstracted images are fertility symbols using circles, eggs, spirals, mazes, rain, water, flowers, and leaves tessellating in repeating patterns. When I'm creating these objects, sometimes the symbolism is conscious, sometimes it is not. |
