I have been working with clay for many years, mostly creating vessels. Recently, I have become interested in sculptural, wall hanging, pieces. These have two themes: The first is women "mis hermanas." Women of the world, working and living together, protecting their children and keeping the family together, these women are the strength of their societies. They are also my ancestors, always present, loving and teaching, their spirits survive. The second theme is villages "mis casitas." These represent communities working and living together.
