When I enter the studio, I am like an irrepressible child, delighted in boundless possibilities. All that I am and encounter infects my imagination and imbues my motivation. I thrill at the process of making marks and relish the meandering my medium proffers. As an artist, my path is surest when I am willing to fall. The journey is long, often arduous, and cannot be hurried, but at every turn lurks an adventure, and with each passage I am one step closer toward home. |
