Traditional Taos painter of figures, still- life, and landscapes, artist Ron Barsano was born in Chicago, IL in 1945 .
He has lived in Taos, NM since 1970. “When I was a kid”, he says, “an illustrator lived next door and I’d hang around
and watch him by the hours. From there on in, it was just a matter of getting through grammar and high school. As
soon as I was free I headed for art school. It was as simple as that.” |
