   A traditional Taos painter of figures, still- life, and landscapes, artist Ron Barsano was born in Chicago, IL in 1945.  He has lived in Taos, NM since 1970. “"When I was a kid”“", he says, ““"an illustrator lived next door and I’'d hang around and watch him by the hours.  From there on in, it was just a matter of getting through grammar and high school. As soon as I was free I headed for art school. It was as simple as that“".” Ron Barsano
